What's New for the 2022 Audi R8?
Audi's electrifying sports car has received a few big updates for 2022. The entry-level model now packs an additional 30 horsepower under the hood. This change helps promote even stronger acceleration. Two new optional packages have arrived as well. A new Sport Exhaust Package adds an active exhaust system with driver-adjustable modes. Not only does the Dynamic Package add carbon-ceramic brake rotors and exclusive 20-inch titanium wheels, but it also brings Racing Shell seats wrapped in Nappa leather.
2022 R8 Trims & Features
The new Audi R8 is offered in two main trim levels: V10 and V10 Performance. Most people will be more than happy with what the entry-level R8 V10 brings to the table. Its leather-appointed interior looks genuinely luxurious. A pair of 18-way power-adjustable seats with heating help ensure great comfort. Featuring a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, Audi's customizable Virtual Cockpit takes your driving experience to the next stage. Other standard equipment includes Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, a Wi-Fi hotspot, satellite radio, and wireless device charging. Audi's optional Premium Package adds a few other niceties, including a 13-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and an Alcantara headliner.
Equipped with an upgraded engine, the R8 V10 Performance packs more muscle. Unlike the base model, it also receives a Quattro AWD system. Carbon-fiber accents give its interior and exterior a special touch.
