What's New for the 2025 Audi A5?

The Audi A5 continues to stand out as a stylish, luxurious, and contemporary sedan in 2025. This model year doesn't bring significant aesthetic or mechanical updates for the A5. Instead, the sedan carries over primarily the same, but the A5 is no longer available as a coupe or convertible. Strong performance continues to be a highlight of the A5, and its cabin stands out as exceptionally comfortable and upscale. The A5 has many standard features and many optional amenities as well.

What Are the 2025 A5 Trims & Features?

You'll have a choice of three trim levels in the 2025 A5 family.

The base trim is called the Premium. This model has a nice mix of luxury amenities and creature comforts, starting with sporty front seats that are power-adjustable for the driver and passenger. Leather seats are standard, and the base trim has heated front seats. A heated steering wheel makes driving in colder weather even more comfortable, and ambient cabin lighting gives the interior an upscale look. Three-zone climate control ensures comfort for all occupants, and a panoramic sunroof is standard starting with the Premium. For technology, the Premium provides a seven-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also standard.

The mid-level Premium Plus adds an upgraded 12.3-inch digital instrument display. It also includes a wireless charging pad, a center console, and armrests wrapped in upscale synthetic leather. The sound system is upgraded to a Bang & Olufsen for a more enjoyable audio experience.

Following this trim is the Prestige, which extends the heated seats to the back row. The Prestige also has a head-up display and more safety technology. Matrix-style LED headlights with laser lights and headlight washers set the exterior apart.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 A5 Have?

There are two engines available for the 2025 A5. You can either get a standard 2.0L four-cylinder engine capable of 201 horsepower or a turbo 2.0L engine with an increase to 261 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard.

What Safety Features Does the 2025 A5 Include?

The A5 comes with lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision mitigation. Blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert are optional safety aids. The Premium also adds a panoramic camera.
