What's New for the 2022 Audi TT?

Audi will provide a new bronze alternative for the TTS in 2022. The only significant modification to the standard TT is a reorganization of the available paint colors and options. The cost rises by $700.

2022 TT Trims & Features

The Audi TT 2022 is available in three trim levels: TT, TTS, and TT RS. The entry-level TT is a solid option for the majority of clients. It's the only model with both coupe and convertible body types, a strong turbocharged engine, and a slew of technology and comfort options. The TT coupe has four seats, whereas the TT convertible has two.

2022 Audi TT Horsepower

It has a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It also has a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. This allows it to reach 60 mph in 5.2 seconds and a peak speed of 130 mph.

The TT is front-heavy but well-balanced, and its overall size makes it easy to steer through esses and tight bends. Even with all-wheel drive, the steering is fast, and the vehicle's nose tucks in neatly despite its speed. Despite the TTS's magnetic dampers firming up the ride, it can be driven into mid-corner oversteer like a decent sports car.

If you're concerned about the TT's lack of a US safety rating, remember that the first-generation TT had a safety problem, and Audi had to work quickly and hard to salvage the car from public derision. Standard features include parking monitors, a rearview camera, blind-spot detection, and airbags. There are eight airbags, which is a nice touch.
