Audi makes safety a big priority in all its vehicles, and it shows. For 2017, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has named a handful of Audi models as 2017 IIHS Top Safety Picks. They include Audi A3 and Audi Q7 models equipped with optional driver-assist technology.
In addition, for the second year straight, the 2017 Audi A4 has achieved a Top Safety Pick+ rating when fitted with high beam assist and LED headlights – both systems are optional add-ons. The 2017 Audi Q5 also earned the accolade when outfitted with optional adaptive cruise control and adaptive Xenon headlights.
"This year’s Top Safety Picks for A3, A4, A6, Q5 and Q7 models speaks to our brand’s commitment to make driver assistance and other innovative technologies available to all customers, from luxury SUVs to entry-level sedans,” said Scott Keogh, President Audi of America.
