Audi Performance Features
In 2024, Audi introduced some new performance capabilities to some of its models. The RS 7, which is a luxury performance wagon, gets a 4.0L V8 engine with twin turbochargers. This engine gives the A7 a 30-horsepower increase in power from the previous engine. Along with the stronger engine, the R7 also has a sport rear differential and adaptive air suspension system for improved ride quality. The S8 is another vehicle in the Audi lineup and will have some changes in 2024. The S8 also has a 4.0L engine with eight cylinders and a twin-turbo configuration. The engine gives the S8 a respectable power output of 563 horsepower, and its torque output reaches up to 590 pound-feet. With this engine, the S8 accelerates 0-60 MPH in a blazing 3.8 seconds. Dynamic all-wheel drive is also a feature on the S8 that improves stability and maneuverability. The RS 5 Avant also has a twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 621 horsepower and up to 627 pound-feet of torque. Acceleration time in this Audi is lightning-fast at 0-60 MPH in 3.3 seconds. With the RS 3 comes a drive selector with multiple modes that allow you to adjust the vehicle's steering weight, torque splitter, and powertrain reactions. The torque splitter technology can send power to either the rear or different sides of the car.
